Please join your friends and neighbors for a community summit!

In order to accommodate as many people as possible we are asking people to please RSVP by clicking here or by going to the city’s website.

At this community summit you will learn more about Goal 17 – Coastal Shorelands, and Goal 18 – Beaches and Dunes. We will be joined by Coastal Specialists from the Department of Land Conservation and Development.  There will be a presentation on Statewide Planning Goals 17 and 18, our existing conditions, policies and regulations. Following the presentation there will be a small group activity to gather community input and feedback to inform updated policies.  

For those unable to attend in person, there will be a call in option available via Zoom which will be posted at least one week in advance of the meeting. The presentation, and report out will also be recorded and available after the meeting.

The first public hearing for the Manzanita Housing Ordinance will be on June 9th at 4:00pm. All comments should be sent to planning@ci.manzanita.or.us
